( she's missed him and everything about him. but she's not even thinking about getting off yet, she really would love a massage... not that they don't turn into sex after a while )

How about you wash my back and then we don't leave the bed for the rest of the evening.

( afternoon, evening... maybe briefly to get some food but she just wanted to spend the next few hours curled against him, around him, with him in some way )

[He was actually going to wash her back, after of course, he kisses the spot where he neck meets her shoulder. Then gets to it, adding a little pressure here and there, but nothing that could actually call a massage. He's saving that for the bedroom]

[He reaches to turn the shower off, then gets out first so he can hand her a towel. Then he wraps his own around his waist.]

( she runs it over herself to take the worst of the water off, hanging it back up before finding his hand, leading him to their bedroom.

and stepping in she kisses him, walking backwards as they go, only breaking from him when they reach the bed. laying out on it she pulls pillows closer, getting comfortable to let him work )

[Pike keeps his towel around his waist for now, and follows Una into their room. Once she's settled, he starts on her shoulders.]

Does anything hurt?

Just sore and tense.

( no matter the advice she'd been given over the years it didn't change how una carried herself or her stress, where it sat in her shoulders, knotting until finally she got a little relief. it was neger as bad now without the stress of duty, and a wonderful partner that indulged her in massages, but she had a new stressor now: worrying about him )

Me again? It was just cadets this time.

I think we do pretty good about it.

( they'd served together for five years, four of those as captain and first officer. and she'd loved him for all of that even if she wasn't aware of how deep her feelings had stemmed for a few years )

I agree with you. Though you know how I am with evaluations, always room for improvement.

[He switched shoulders and found another particularly tight knot.]

( she's not expecting this knot, not expecting how tight this one is and her response is almost pained )

( she bites back that she plans on other things also being sore in the morning. and not just in her )

That sounds nice. Especially for your longer trips.

( and... not only because if he was done for the evening would she make good use of that call )

[He would not object to not leaving their bed for at least one day this weekend.]

I think I'd have to be doubly sure the comm channel was private for longer trips.

I was an engineer.

( which means she'd definitely make sure that channel was private and secure. she's got a few tricks that starfleet hasn't taught her, tricks she's learned since.

when she feels his hands finish over her back she rolls over, holding a hand out to him ) Come here. ( legs part so that he can settle between them, her arm wrapping around his shoulders once he's closer to pull him in, kissing him slow and deep )

And I'm glad for that.

[But he takes her hand and joins her on their bed, enjoying being able to just kiss her. Even after the time they had together he's still just a little surprised that he gets to do it.]

( arms wrap around his neck, one leg hooking over his hip to pull him closer )
